macOS permissions

Why Orylo requests system access and how to recover when a permission is denied.

Accessibility

Accessibility is requested only when you enable automatic selected text/file capture or a feature that needs to read the current selection. Orylo checks the real macOS authorization state and never edits the TCC database.

Microphone

Microphone access is required only for voice drafts. Denied access can be restored in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

Screen recording

ScreenCaptureKit may require screen recording access for region and focused-window capture. Orylo excludes its own visible interface from supported capture paths.

After changing a permission

    Open System Settings

    Use the recovery button shown by Orylo or open Privacy & Security manually.

    Enable Orylo

    Find Orylo under the relevant permission and enable it.

  3. 3

    Return to Orylo

    Retry the action. Some macOS permission changes may require relaunching the app.
