Connect MCP tools
Manage tool connections centrally and assign only what an Assistant needs.

Add a tool connection
In Settings, use MCP Servers to discover supported local configurations or add a server to Library. Review an imported JSON or Git configuration before accepting it.
Connection helpers can assist with finding and configuring a service. Enter credentials in the dedicated settings fields, not in a chat request. Installing an external server and authorizing its service remain separate steps.
Test, enable, and assign
Test the connection
Confirm that the configured server responds. A saved configuration is not proof of a successful connection.
Enable the server
Check the exposed tools and any required credentials before enabling use.
Assign to an Assistant
Choose the Assistants and tools that may use the connection. Unassigned services are not made available to every conversation.
Know the boundaries
Orylo-assigned MCP tools can coexist with an Agent’s own MCP setup. Removing access in Orylo does not automatically remove a separate connection configured directly in that Agent.
The current integration focuses on tools. Built-in MCP OAuth, Resources, Prompts, server package installation, and automatic multimodal attachment conversion are not provided. Follow the connected service’s privacy and authorization rules.
