Capture from anywhere

Orylo provides configurable global shortcuts for a freeform region and the focused window. ScreenCaptureKit excludes Orylo’s own interface from the result, then places the frozen capture in the composer.

Choose an OCR engine

  • Apple Vision uses the OCR built into macOS.
  • PaddleOCR Small or Medium runs from a downloaded, versioned local model.
  • Turning OCR off prevents the extraction task from running.
  • PDF and image extraction reuse one bounded task instead of starting again when you send.

Local processing

OCR input and extracted text remain on your Mac. Extracted content is sent only when you send the associated attachment to the chosen Assistant.
