# Quickstart

Configure an assistant and send your first request from anywhere on your Mac.

## Before you start

- Use the current Orylo development build supplied by the project owner.
- Install and sign in to at least one supported assistant, such as Codex or Claude Code.
- Choose a folder that your project-aware assistant can use as its workspace.

## Send your first request

1. **Open Orylo** — Press Control + Option + Space. The Composer appears near the pointer.
2. **Choose an assistant** — Select an available Assistant. Orylo displays its live readiness and supported capabilities.
3. **Choose a workspace** — For a project-aware Agent, select the folder before the first message. The conversation keeps that workspace.
4. **Add context** — Type a prompt, paste a screenshot, or add selected text and files. Remove anything you do not want to send.
5. **Send** — Press Return. The composer expands into the conversation while the assistant streams its response.
