# Keyboard shortcuts

Keep frequent actions close and check configurable bindings in Settings.

## Check your global bindings

Composer, Actions, and capture shortcuts can be configured. Settings is the source of truth for your current bindings; change a shortcut if another app already uses it.

The app’s input hints show shortcuts you have not used yet. A shortcut shown in a screenshot or an older guide may not match your configuration.

## While composing

| Action | Keys |
| --- | --- |
| Send the request | Return |
| Insert a new line | ⇧ + Return |
| Cancel active voice input or hide the input window | Esc |
| Browse recent prompts in an empty Composer | ↑ + ↓ |
| Bold | ⌘ + B |
| Italic | ⌘ + I |
| Inline code | ⌘ + E |

## In the conversation window

Control + Option + D is not a global shortcut. Command + Q quits Orylo; closing a window does not.

| --- | --- |
| Find in the conversation | ⌘ + F |
| Open the Orylo work window | ⌘ + 0 |
| Close the window without quitting | ⌘ + W |
| Toggle voice draft while Orylo has keyboard focus | ⌃ + ⌥ + D |
