# Use the Notch

Keep an idea or an Assistant’s progress close without opening a full window.

<a id="entry"></a>

## One entry, three views

The optional Notch entry brings together Composer, Narration, and an Assistant overview. It is an additional entry point, not a separate conversation system. You can use Orylo without a physical camera notch.

Composer in the Notch shares the new-conversation draft with quick Composer. Opening it does not switch an existing conversation in the work window or automatically capture the current selection.

## Check work at a glance

The Assistant overview shows available assistants and their active or unread work. Select an Assistant to compose, or a task to return to its conversation. Unavailable assistants are not listed in the overview.

Pin keeps the Notch open. Unpin releases that setting; moving the pointer away can then collapse it. Collapsing preserves an unfinished draft or Narration session.

## Move into a conversation

Send the reviewed draft to continue in the full conversation window. The Notch is for getting started and staying aware; longer replies, files, and Team work belong in the conversation.
